Overall Commissioning Test which involves all Primary, P&C and LVAC/DC systems. This will prove the tripping, Control logic and all electrical interlocks, Status Indication, Alarms and Analogues to HMI/SCADA.
PROTECTION TESTING
End to End Protection test for Line Protection including Telecomm system.
ENERGY OUPUT
Energization and On-Load Testing to prove the integrity of all Protection (Line Protection and Transformer protection and Busbar Protection etc.) Energization procedure and complete load tests
RCM Engineering & Operational Excellence
RCM has experience in the engineering and testing & commissioning of IEC 61850 substations. Our team has designed protection & control systems which utilize IEC 61850 GOOSE and MMS for the interchange of data between protection relays, and reporting to SCADA. The RCM engineering team utilizes SEL AcSELerator Architect to develop SCD setting files, and configures SEL and other OEM equipment to properly communicate and receive IEC 61850 signals. During testing & commissioning, our team of engineers validates, troubleshoots, and provides technical solutions for IEC 61850 signals. Furthermore, we have previously testing IEC61850-SV performance utilizing merging units and testing equipment within our office relay lab. Our experience includes configuration of protection and control systems ranging from 25kV to 345kV.
